Spatial Eco-Informatics Facility
The Center for Conservation Biology's Spatial Eco-Informatics Facility integrates remote sensing, geographic information systems, and global positioning technologies with on-the-ground knowledge of ecosystems, and natural resource management to address relevant environmental issues. A key aspect of this facility is to provide support for CCB researchers and students whose research focuses on natural resources management, ecological modeling, urbanization, inventory and monitoring, invasion by exotics, habitat fragmentation and degradation, and fire ecology, among other themes.
